The Year 1 and 2 Beavers enjoy meeting up with their Colony every week. The different activities and games we do are all planned around completing the Beaver Challenges and Awards. The Beavers love earning badges and displaying them proudly on their uniforms!

In their first term they will be invested into the Beaver Scout Colony. The Beavers say their Promise and in return will get their membership badge, British Overseas Scouting badge, Union Jack flag, TTS Scouting badge and a neckerchief.

The Beavers are divided into small units or “lodges” which mixes up the two different year groups (and friendship groups) and allows the children to work in smaller groups for craft and other activities.

We sometimes go out on trips – a firm favourite is visiting the Air Force Museum as part of our Air Activities badge.

Year 1 and 2 Beavers meet on Thursdays 13:50 – 14:50.
